Dr. Susan Pyke
Dr. Susan Pyke graduated from Dalhousie University’s Faculty of Dentistry in 1990. She went on to complete a one-year Dental Residency program at the Toronto General Hospital and then returned to Nova Scotia to enter private practice. She also taught part time at the Faculty of Dentistry from 1994 until 2001.
An interest in the equestrian sport of eventing in part prompted a move to Fredericton in 2001, where she purchased a thriving general dentistry practice from Dr. John McMullen. It soon outgrew its original location, and the move to 900 Hanwell Road was completed in the fall of 2005. The Carriage Place Dental Centre was born!
Dr. Pyke has taken advanced courses in the latest aesthetic bonding techniques for porcelain crowns and veneers, including the Millenium Aesthetics program in Niagara Falls, Ontario, and the renowned Dawson Center’s Functional Esthetics program in Virginia with Dr. John Cranham. She has also received extensive training in comprehensive functional restorative dentistry from the United Learning Centre in Truro, Nova Scotia, and the Dawson Center in Florida. She has taken advanced implant dentistry courses with Dr. Ken Hebel in London, Ontario and with Dr. Carl Misch of Detroit, Michigan, who is an acknowledged world leader in the field. Dr. Pyke is a self-avowed “continuing education junkie” so that she can stay on the cutting edge of all the exciting technologies and treatment options available and offer them to her patients.
Her other great passion is her love for animals, and she lives on a 30 acre hobby farm outside of Fredericton with her husband and their assortment of horses, dogs, and cats. She enjoys competing locally in Dressage and Eventing with Lilly, her Thoroughbred/Trakehener mare and travelling to the big international shows to watch how the really good riders do it!
Dr. Danie Bujold
Dr. Danie Bujold was born in Dalhousie, N.B. and grew up in the Moncton area. She is of Acadian descent and is FULLY BILINGUAL. She received her dentistry degree from the Universite de Montreal in 1999 and brings a broad range of work experience from Nunavut, D.N.D. Petawawa, as well as private practice. Dr. Bujold is very happy to be settling back in New Brunswick, and she and her husband have purchased a home in the area. They enjoy snowshoeing, hiking, and camping.
